Alabama Snow for Karley My Litter Southern Belle Sister.

Hey everybody, my littermate sister Karley born in Georgia and living in Alabama is a true Southern Belle. She is bigger than me and has completed all her shots. Yea!
Her adopted parents are Corky and Debbie. They love boxers and miniture schnausers.
Wow, Karley, we already have a lot in common (except I'm a Southern Stud not Belle).  You will not believe what Karley said to me in Comments on February 22nd "I DO Flips, I Do Flops....". To  read about my possible upcoming stud status scroll down and read at your own risk!!!!!
Stay tuned for more about Sis Karley and her family, ya'll.  Jas.

Just What Is The Combination To This Gate?

Hey Pop, how do I get over, under or around this gate?  The frustrations of being a boxer pup begin with not having the run of the house.  Joyce and Larry keep saying something about "I can't be trusted"!  Trusted about what? Just what is the problem anyway.  All I do is to put everything I see in my mouth to either eat or chew in the frontend and potty/poop from the rearend.   Hey mon, no problem!

I Do Flips, I Do Flops, I Play Hard & I relax Hard.

Nothing like a good stolen FlipFlop with Pop's scent to chew on.
This Bad To The Bone boy plays hard and relaxes hard.  Just take a look at my long legs and big paws .
My Vet likes to take a slow approach on the shot series in other words three to four weeks between shots. So I'm not scheduled to get my final round,  including rabies, until March 2nd.
At twelve weeks big sister, Karley weighed in at 16.1 lbs and Pop weighed me in at 13.5 lbs.  Pop says I've always been a little smaller than my 9 siblings ;but, that's ok I'm just lean and mean. Now why would he even think mean? I do like to sneak around and eat some of Bradley's Beneful when Pop is not looking even tho I'm on Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy. It certainly is not for a lack of appetite that I'm less weighty. I guess I just run it off! And who knows I might just keep on growing when everbody else stops. You know, big feet means big ____!
Er, that's another story!

Harley Davidson - Bad To The Bone!

Pop went shopping at Pet Supplies Plus. Among the things he came back with is my first collar.  Apparently he is trying to label this sweet, innocent, little puppy with a Harley Davidson Bad To The Bone collar. In the First photo I'm scratching that dang thang as I adjust to wearing it.
Second photo, I'm doing the twist......heard that was a dance!
Third photo, I'm introducing my Friend "Stuffy" to my new look.
Karley wants to post some photo's. She can email them along with any words of wisdom to my Pop at AultmanL@gmail.com and I'll post them here until I can find a way to give her permission to post herself.

NASCAR Dog.....Daytona ....... Wow!

Hey Pop, all I've heard and seen on radio & TV in February is NASCAR, Speed Week and Daytona. Let's watch and see what it is all about.  Hmmmmm! those guys are crazy............. the way their driving.  I can't run that fast; but, I can swarm all over everybody and bump my buddies like they do.

Wow! There goes Danica Patrick, the Go-Daddy girl, in her number 7 Nationwide Series car. She is hot-hot-hot plus fast-fast-fast! Should we say that she has made Go-Daddy truely "broadband"?  Nah!

Well on Sunday the big Sprint Race started at 1pm and believe it or not, lasted til 7pm.  Yeh, those crazy Nascar drivers were burning up the track so bad they created a hole in the asphalt between turns 1 and 2 that had to be patched twice stalling the race twice. Anyway, I'm a pooped puppy, so I jumped in Bradley's bed and chilled.

Question for sister Karley. Did you get a chance to enjoy the snow?

Raleigh Snowdog!

Snow moved up from Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina to Raleigh, NC turning me into a real Snowdog.  I've seen so much snow in the last 10 days that I am completely comfortable playing in it.
Bradley has patiently shown me the ropes. He has me plowing my nose like a road scraper then slinging the captured snow on my nose high in the air with a swift upward swing. Then try to bite it before it strikes the ground. So funny!
Last shot I'm demostrating to Bradley my snow coloring ability. Are you thinking yellow?
Let it snow ya'll......Snowdog is on the prowl !!!!

Pampas Me You Will Let Me Outside To Play.

A cool but beautiful day in Kure Beach.  Pop opened the door and out I zoomed straight for the backyard. I love to thrash around in the pampas grass.  I run around the right side hiding from Pop.  Then I come tearing around the corner under the pampas grass leaves and whip across the yard to the pampas on the left side only to repeat myself whipping back across to the right.
What did you say? Faster than a speeding bullet........hmmm, you might say so!
In the meantime I did number 1 like a good dog; but, I held number 2 until I got back inside. Some days Pop just can't win for trying!!  Heh, heh!

What is your growth pattern?

I'm trying to get a feel of my comparative growth progress. First time at the Vet with my new family on January 25th, being 8 weeks old, I weighed 9.2 lbs. Second Vet visit on February 1st I was 10.4 lbs. Now on February 9th at Vets I'm 11.7 lbs. Apparently I'm growing about 1.2 lbs per week. Please give me feedback. How does this compare with my litter mates and/or other puppies out there? I think I'm a little on the light height & weight size compared to most of my litter mates anyway. Vet says not to worry, it is desireable in boxer pups to see a few ribs showing.

Learning my basic skills.

The day after I rode home (January 23rd) I learned to wobble up18 carpeted stair-steps. I have been practicing that upward steps routine until I now prance up.  The last two days I have slowly built up my courage and wobbled down three or four stairs at a time. Dog brother Bradley led the way, showed me how and gave encouragement while in Raleigh.  Now I'm back at K Largo (beach house) and I'm moving down all 18 steps with confidence. Not quite prancing yet; but, that will come.
Chow!

Ma/GranMaMa holds Rylan and Jasper on Sunday in Raleigh

Mom & Pops youngest family member grandson, Rylan, meets his first puppy, me (Jasper). I don't think he is quite sure how to handle it! I also met Mom/Pop's son Derek, Daughter-in-law Michelle, and Daughter Dale.  I've yet to meet immediate family members son Dan (Tequesta FL), Daughter Dawn (Charlotte NC) and dogs Cimba and Roxie (Bradley's sister).  Whew! A big family, huh?

Friday was a long day......gotta crash with Mom and Bradley.

If you don't have a Snuggle, a blanket will do.  Bradley says I wore him out playing. I'll never tell that I wore myself out playing.  I think Mom and Pop kinda know; but, I don't think anybody else does.

All Aboard for Raleigh, NC

OK Pop, I'm ready. All Aboard!
Yesterday, Pop asked me if I wanted to visit our Raleigh home for a long weekend and have a Super Bowl party. Of course I said yes, yes, yes. After all I'm use to traveling like from Brunswick, GA to Kure Beach, NC and to the Vet. Ughhh..why did I have to say V--!  I just can't bring myself to say that again.
Anyway, I let Pop drive so I could sleep and play safely in my crate. I always take my crate on overnight trips. Kind of like a trailer, huh! That way I always have my familiar safe haven where I rule.
Made the trip ok. Caught up with that big brother, Bradley, of mine.  He, He, He, he doesn't know how short his life is a "big brother". He better keep on liking me because I'll be his big brother in no time.  Ssssh, don't tell him. I want it to be a surprise.

Surprise, surprise!  I was the one surprised when Bradley introduced me to snow. Yep, Raleigh still had snow from last weekend. It is all nothing but white though. It doesn't have the character of different colors such as brendle, black and white like me.

Bradley says to go ahead and taste it. It won't hurt you. Just be sure to leave the yellow snow alone!    I didn't ask him what he meant by that; however, I think I have a pretty good idea.

A Brother I didn't Know I had!

A Brother I didn't Know I had came to visit for the Weekend. He introduced himself with a little bit of jealously. I took care of that right away by pestering him unmercifly. Oh, BTW, his name is Bradley a minature schnauser. I'll show him what minature really is when I grow past him to 70 lbs compared to his 25 lbs.
I immediately took over his bed and his toys. Isn't that what a boxer supposed to do? Hmmmm, his bed is so good after  a session of heavy play.
