Free, Free, Free at Last!

Seems like all my life I've been on a tether (leash ya'll). It is just not fair. Bradley's got this red collar with that funny looking little black box on it and he has the run of the yard. Not Fair! Stomp! Not fair! That stomp was me putting my foot down!!!! Well, look whose smilimg now. Pop got me a red collar with a little black box. He also put little white flags all around the yard (wierd). Then he put that dog-gone leash back on me and started walking to one of those little white flags. I'm curious, so I trot right along beside him over to the flag when suddenly WHAM-O!    Something hit me right in the neck.      After turning a flip straight up in the air I turned around high-tailing   it back into the middle of my yard. You will not believe this; but, Pop walked to five different places around the yard with me on that dang tether and  DID THE SAME THING!    Now, I might not be the smartest boxer in Raleigh;  but,  after the fifth wham-o  I'm not going near those white flags.  Opps, I just realized NO MORE LEASH.  I'm smiling because I'm FREE, free, free at last to run in my own yard (just don't near the flags).
While I'm chewing on a pine limb Bradley comes over to welcome me to my new found freedom.                YEPPIE!

  1. Thats great Jas....NO MORE LEASH!!!!! And who knew you could do a flip. So glad to hear you pop is giving you some freedom. I heard you mom is doing a bit better, hopefully it won't be too long & she'll be back at home. I'm sure she misses you a lot!

In about 1 more week you will have a new litter of 1/2 brothers & sisters! Whew it is going to be a busy month with a lot off puppies!

Tim says you are one handsome puppy, with a great head! But we already knew that!

Take care of your pop & stay away from those white flags...they'll get you every time!

  2. Hey Jas,

Believe it or not, my folks were just talking this morning about getting me one of those collars with the little box on it. They have one for Zoe and she looks very sad when they put it on her, so I'm not sure I really want one...but, I don't think it's my choice. I'm about 28 pounds now, how about you??

  3. Hi Karly,
Great to hear from you. Tell your folks to "Just Do It" now! Five times the first day at Level 2 was all it took. I did sneak thru (ouch!) twice. Once to follow Pop to get the paper and once to visit the neighboring dogs. Pop pumped it up to Level 4 just for maintenance. While that little black box does tingle pretty or should I say "badly" good it is not near as bad as a taser says Pop. I enjoy the freedom that comes with wearing it. I can really flex my muscles now, big time!
Pop weighed me this AM at 28.5 lbs and measured my height at withers 20". I'm growing tall, lanky and full of energy.
When the water warms up I'm going swimming. How about you.
    Luv, Jas
